Guilderton General Store

Conveniently located at the entrance of the campsite, we enjoyed having meal with a great view of Moore River without being bothered to cook by ourselves while camping. The fish and chips and the steak sandwich were beyond expectations.

Brought coffee and was very satisfied with how lovely it was....great location and excellent service...the view is amazing and relaxing...food was great...we stayed in a lovely home with family and enjoyed our 4 day's...will return

We must have gone on the wrong day as I disagree with other reviews of the fish and chips from the takeaway section, it was barely edible. It had some funky sweet chicken salt on it, the batter was crunchy on the outside and a little sloppy on the inside, only achievable if the batter is nice and thick. The crabstick was similar to a Pluto pop, but just mushy on the inside. I love visiting small towns and supporting the local community but man, please move over and allow me to cook. I've been all over WA and the one consistent thing is lovely people but takeaway food is horrible, especially in all the tourism hotspots with great views.

Has just reopened after last leasees vacated.I bought fish & chips.$12 per serve.2 small pieces of what seemed like frozen battered fish, not freshly battered fresh fish, a handful of chips and a slice of lemon per serve. Luckily they weren't wrapped up, just in a tray. I couldn't resist having a fresh hot chip on the way back to my family. Unfortunately it was almost cold. I took them back straight away and asked the guy in the kitchen to recook the order. He assured me they had just been cooked but was happy to replace the chips as the fish was still pretty hot.The fish and chips were ok, but not what youd expect from an ocean side cafe.Overpriced for the type of fish and the size of the portion.Very minimal menu.Hopefully things will improve and we will have a thriving cafe/general store/bakery once more. It's been a long time.

Store is effectively closed for renovations over Xmas 2021-22, and has been since at least September'21. No info given by caravan park next door when confirming our booking, so we were caught very short on supplies, as we normally support local businesses and buy general groceries locally. Had to drive back to Perth to do a shop to last us the week.

Great value and food! One of the only places for food near the river and beach!

Fantastic ham and cheese croissant and coffee - highly recommend. Beautiful views and lovely people.
